Community Programs, Cultural Workshops & Educational Action
Conseil Parent Elève Fédération Cornec deploys an ambitious, year-round calendar of public interest programs specifically designed to support rural schoolchildren, empower parents, and stimulate cultural curiosity across Trémeur and the Côtes-d'Armor department.
Every activity listed in this operational catalog is non-commercial, completely secular, and free of discriminatory barriers. We transform public spaces into vibrant centers of artistic exploration, scientific inquiry, and mutual civic aid.

Public Interest & Non-Commercial Guarantee
None of our programs are commercial products or fee-for-service packages. All instructors, guest artists, and facilitators are funded through municipal partnerships, public subsidies, and associative resources.
All membership fees and dues are fully reinvested in the association's public interest missions.

Program I: The Communal Cultural & Theatre Atelier Series
Rural isolation should never mean cultural deprivation. The Communal Cultural & Theatre Atelier brings visiting authors, puppeteers, visual artists, and actors into Trémeur's municipal hall and school ateliers. Children participate in expressive drama, creative writing, clay sculpting, and musical storytelling under the mentorship of recognized regional artists.
How We Serve the Community:
Organizing 6 bi-monthly weekend artistic discovery workshops free for all registered pupils.
Staging an annual year-end participatory theatre pageant where students write scripts, construct sets, and perform for families.
Parent volunteers assist with workshop welcoming, setting up lighting and scenery, baking healthy afternoon snacks, and chaperoning rehearsals. No specialized art experience is required; enthusiasm and kindness are our primary criteria.

Program II: Educational Excursions & Outdoor Field Discovery
Direct observation in the natural world provides unforgettable educational stimuli. Conseil Parent Elève Fédération Cornec underwrites significant portions of travel costs, museum admissions, and professional guide fees for class excursions throughout Brittany, connecting textbook science with living ecosystems.
How We Serve the Community:
Subsidizing charter bus transport for elementary classes visiting maritime biology stations in Saint-Malo and Dinard.
Financing guided environmental field expeditions in the Brocéliande forest and Rance river watershed.
Operating the Anonymous Solidarity Excursion Fund so that every child participates regardless of household financial situation.
Volunteer Integration:
Accredited parent volunteers serve as official field chaperones, assisting teachers with headcounts, field safety, first-aid accompaniment, and lunch organization during full-day journeys.

Program III: The Parental Educational Agora & Family Forums
Parenting in the modern era presents complex challenges that no family should have to navigate alone. The Parental Educational Agora is a monthly deliberative forum offering parents an open, non-judgmental space to learn, exchange experiences, and receive guidance from certified child health, education, and psychology professionals.
How We Serve the Community:
Hosting quarterly lectures on digital screen balance, healthy sleep hygiene, and managing cyber-harassment risks.
Facilitating peer discussion circles on supporting homework routines and easing the transition from primary school to Collège in Broons or Dinan.
Publishing free, accessible informational brochures summarizing public aid programs, speech therapy resources, and tutoring networks.
Volunteer Integration:
Volunteers assist with hall welcoming, distributing debate handouts, moderating question-and-answer sessions, and coordinating on-site child minding so that parents with young infants can attend without childcare anxiety.

Program IV: The School Yard Eco-Garden & Biodiversity Corridor
Connecting children to soil, seasons, and living organisms fosters profound ecological responsibility and emotional serenity. In collaboration with the municipality and school teaching staff, our volunteers designed, installed, and continue to steward an organic vegetable patch, orchard trees, and an insect hotel directly on school grounds.
Facilitating seasonal compost workshops that teach children how cafeteria organic waste transforms into rich agricultural compost.
Hosting autumn harvest tastings where students sample the fruits of their shared labor alongside parents and municipal gardeners.
Volunteer Integration:
Parent and retiree volunteers maintain irrigation systems during school holidays, organize weekend weeding and planting bees, build wooden birdhouses, and donate heirloom seedlings.
